Welcome (back) to (another year in) Moscow!!

Hopefully you’re over your jetlag, come to grips with the end of summer, and ready to dig in.  For you first timers, this website is a shared blog where BKC teachers can share experiences, information, or just about anything else they want.  Think of it as a less formal, more personal space to discuss your time in Russia with the rest of us.  You’ll find that we update the page roughly every month – so please check in every now and then to see what’s new!

Each month we try to incorporate a theme of sorts to inspire those of you to write some prose or poetry to submit to the site for the others to read.  This month, we’ve incorporated an “Essentials” section to help you with some basics around the city: where to buy, what to buy, basic language, etc.  If you have any advice, feel free to send it in!

We’d also like to invite those photographers out there to submit photos from around the city!  If you’ve got a great picture of some location you loved – send it in with a little caption and we’ll make sure it gets some attention.

For those of you new to BKC, or those returning, we’d also like to make a point that the Unbound editor’s team can always use fresh blood at our meetings.  For those of you interested in editing, writing, or just seeing what goes on at one of our meetings, just send an e-mail to unbound.magazine@gmail.com and we’ll make a point of getting back to you.

Hope you’ve all enjoyed the beginning of the year, see you at the seminar, and hope to hear from you soon!
